Atkins Diet

Dr. Atkins is a restrictive low carb and high protein diet. Carbohydrates contains healthful and essential nutrients and cutting out the major part of good carbohydrates looks not a good idea especially in long term diets. Atkins Diet claims you can eat as much proteins and fat you want and still loosing weight, and this is recognized as a potential health risks. Diet should be a life style and not a short (or worse long) stress period for the body, and eliminating essential nutrients may bring to serious health problems.
